Tugboat formed in late 2013 with the goal of creating solid rock and roll. No frills, no gimmicks, just riffs. Started by Casey Mullaney and Jeremy Shofner on guitar and drums, and Christopher Strom and Ricky Caughill on bass and vocals, Tugboat combines Sabbath-esque heaviness with modern hardcore aspects, Tugboat aims to bring hard rock back to Buffalo's music scene.
